Texas Death Row Inmate, Clinton Young, Out Of Prison

Clinton Young, the 38-year-old, ex-death row inmate charged in the death of two people back in 2001, is out on bond, in Texas.

In 2003, Young was convicted of murder, but the conviction was overturned in 2021 after it was discovered that the prosecutor was also employed by the judge.

After his death row punishment was overturned, Young was sent back to jail in Midland County, Texas.

On January 20, 2022, he was released on a $150,000 bond after donations were received through the Clinton Young Foundation Facebook page.

It is unknown if Young’s case will be totally dropped or if a re-trial will take place at a later date.

Clinton has always said that he was not guilty of the murder of two men killed for their car during a two-day crime spree. Clinton has maintained that he was set up by his co-defendants.
