A Tennessee man is facing attempted criminal homicide charges after nearly beating his wife to death because of an outfit she wore to church Sunday.
According to reports Percy Thompson,34 became angry with his wife because of an outfit she wore to church and the two began arguing and she put him out the home.
He then cane back and forced his way into the home causing his wife to fall down the stairs.
The woman tried to get her kids and leave the home but Thompson grabbed her and started punching her repeatedly until she became unconscious.
He then grabbed some clothes and fled the home.
The victims mother called police but Thompson was already gone before they arrived.
The woman was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Thompson was later arrested and charged with attempted criminal homicide, failure to appear and driving on a revoked license.
He is being held at Davidson County jail on a $301,000 bond.
