A 17-year-old Michigan girl, Clara Malick, is breaking her silence over two years after her parents initiated a federal racial discrimination lawsuit against Croswell-Lexington High School.

In an interview with The Detroit News on Jan. 3, Clara, who is adopted, revealed the distressing experiences she faced in 2021.
The lawsuit details instances of harassment, threats, and racial slurs, exposing the hostile environment Clara endured on an almost daily basis. Taunts escalated to include phrases like “Go back to the plantation and pick cotton” and derogatory remarks about her hair.

  1. Hold those kids accountable that said these horrible things to her. They dont deserve anonymity. She needs to name names, PUBLICLY. They need reprocussions for their actions that they very obviously lack at home.

  2. When will these uneducated bigots learn? Some never! They best do a serious history check. Who did what and who came from where 👵🏾🙏🏿

  3. I can understand hatred if someone wrongs you through behaviour or their actions. Even then let it go. But to hate someone because of the color of their skin, that is the stupidest things ive ever heard of. Wake up America, find away to be kind to people who aren’t your color of choice. Now lets talk about the NRA!!!! Be well America…. ????
