A supposed sex tape was AirDropped to 200 high school students. Now, the teacher that is responsible has been suspended.
The recording allegedly involved the teacher and her boyfriend and was saved on the teacher’s cellphone. On February 7, it was sent out to students at Ginn Academy, an all-boys’ school, in Cleveland, Ohio.
On February 15, the principal of the school filed a police report regarding the incident.
The police’s sex crime unit is looking into the matter although the unidentified teacher isn’t being thought of as a suspect.
But, a spokesperson for the Cleveland Metropolitan School district stated that the teacher has been “removed from the school and will not work with students pending the outcome of the probe.”
The teacher did confess to having the video on her phone but claims that she did not AirDrop it to anybody.
There is a chance that the phone was hacked, a cybersecurity expert noted about the matter. It was added that it is easy to get someone’s password and go through their photos if the person isn’t paying attention.
Some parents are still extremely upset, stating that it doesn’t matter if the incident was unintentional. Kids should not have been able to gain access to the video in any way they feel.
