Tarrant County Sheriffs are asking for the public’s assistance locating a man they say killed his ex girlfriend at her job in Haslet Tuesday.
According to reports Michael Sherrod Walker Jr,23 and his girlfriend Atiyeh Chatmon,23 had recently broke up.
The two got into an argument over the phone Tuesday when Walker came to Chatmon’s job where they argued some more before he pulled out a gun and shot her in the chest.
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Golden Heights Rd and when they arrived they found Chatmon suffering from a gunshot wound and transported her to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Walker had already fled the scene before officers could arrive.
Sheriffs believe Walker is considered armed and dangerous and that he should not be approached.
