Some Target employees at stores and distribution centers may see their wages increase to up to $24 an hour. The company has stated that its minimum wage will be between $15 and $24 per hour.

Target is also ready to use $300 million on their labor force which will involve improved health care benefits for hourly workers. If employees work at least 25 hours per week, they can be a part of a Target medical plan. The old guidelines required that employees work 30 hours per week to receive the incentive. This means that 20% of their workers will be eligible.

Those employees that work in more competitive locations will benefit from the pay increase. Their universal pay of $15 per hour will remain the same.
