Taraji P. Henson Donates $10,000 To St. Phillips In South Dallas While Visiting

Taraji P. Henson was in South Dallas Friday to help celebrate St. Phillip’s School and Community Center.
Henson was in town for the 20th annual Destiny Award Luncheon where she spoke with the students about her upbringing, the different struggles she faced growing up and some of the positive challenges she’s faced in Hollywood.
The student’s also got a chance to speak with Taraji and share some of their experiences with her as well.
Henson pledged $10,000 towards the school and community center this year at the Destiny Awards Luncheon.
