Swimmer’s Body Recovered Near Little Elm Beach

On Friday afternoon, shortly after 12:00 PM, the Little Elm Fire Department responded to reports of a possible drowning at Little Elm Beach, located at 701 W. Eldorado Parkway.

Witnesses reported seeing a man swimming between the shoreline and the beach buoys when he suddenly disappeared from view. In response to the situation, the Lewisville Fire Department’s Dive Team and Texas Game Wardens were called in to assist with the search.

After approximately four hours of searching, the body of the man, believed to be in his twenties, was recovered from the water.
