SWAT Situation Ends Peacefully With Suspect In Custody

A man is in critical condition after being shot during an argument Wednesday afternoon.
According to officers they responded to a shooting on the 2000 block of Las Cruces Lane and when they arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Witnesses say the suspect and victim had been arguing over a situation that happed a few days ago when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
He then fled to a home on the 2000 block Hilburn Drive where he barricaded himself inside the home for nearly 3 hours before surrendering peacefully to police.
Police have not confirmed if this shooting is connected to the shooting on Las Cruces a few days ago.
