Authorities in Cedar Hill, Texas, have apprehended three suspects they think were a part of an ATM robbery and took officers on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
On Friday morning, authorities were called to the Bank of America on W. Beltline Road, close to Highway 67. This came after a caller stated that he was robbed by two men that had on masks as he was servicing the ATM.
Police say that the suspects took over $300,000 from the ATM.
They then left the location in a black SUV, the victim said.
Although police in Duncanville had seen the SUV and went after the suspects, they were unable to catch them.
The suspects then stole another vehicle from someone who was entering their car in a Duncanville community, close to Highway 67 and Cockrell Hill Road.
Police went after the vehicle in a pursuit as the suspects hit an unmarked Duncanville police car. The vehicle was then involved in another wreck and was no longer driveable, authorities say.
The suspects attempted to flee the scene but were apprehended by Cedar Hill and Duncanville police.
Another suspect was eventually found in a backyard close by.
Due to the wreck, two of the suspects and one civilian were transported to a medical facility.
The suspects in the matter haven’t been publicly identified as of yet.
