Suspected Vehicle Crash in Dallas Turns into Homicide Case

A single-car crash in South Dallas on Tuesday morning leads to a homicide investigation.

At around 1:25 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene of a crash on 2400 Pennsylvania Ave and discovered a 25-year-old driver who’d been fatally shot.

Preliminary investigation determined that the driver, Faneal Tesfit, was shot by an unknown suspect while driving. He then lost consciousness, veered off the road, and crashed into a vacant house.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact DPD.
