Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested During Drug Bust Try To Bribe Officers With Money

On March 16, 33 year old Eric Bass was arrested during a drug related operation in Alabama.

Officials recovered over a quarter pound of methamphetamine, 11 grams of crack cocaine, 24 grams of cocaine, 59 roxicodone pills and marijuana. A revolver was also recovered in the bust.

Bass offered arresting officers $3,700 in cash and monthly payments in order to prevent his detainment. A spokeswoman from the sheriffs office told reporters “His offer was declined by investigators”.

Consequently, Bass was charged with two counts of bribery of public servants, two counts of drug trafficking, and several drug possession.
