Suspect Pours Gasoline On Man And Sets Him On Fire After Argument

One man is in critical condition and sustained life-threatening wounds after an argument at a gas station led to an assailant pouring gasoline on him and setting him ablaze.

The incident occurred on Sunday, close to 4:32 p.m., at a Mobile gas station, in Tampa, Florida.

Officials say that 34-year-old Earl Hargrove Jr. bought the gasoline and poured it on the unidentified victim prior to setting him on fire. The victim was then transported to a medical facility where he was listed in critical condition with life-threatening wounds.

Hargrove Jr. has been charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm and attempted first-degree murder.
