Dallas police arrested two suspects in connection with the deadly shooting of an armored car guard.
On October 18 officers arrested 24 year old Francisco Montez and 21 year old Genaro Rivera and charged them with capital murder.
The fatal shooting happened on September 1, around 9:20 a.m., on the 100 block of S. Carroll Avenue.
Officers responded and found the victim, 52 year old David Ruback suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
While investigating officers learned that Ruback was shot during a robbery at the location. They said two masked men jumped out of a vehicle and demanded the money. When Ruback refused he was shot.
The suspects took the money and fled the scene before officers could arrive.
After speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage from the location they were able to release photos of the suspects and the vehicle they fled in.
