Around 4:20 p.m., police responded to a call about a death on the 200 block of South Field Street near the AT&T Discovery District.
When police arrived they found a man stabbed to death in the chest. The man was immediately taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives believe he was killed during a fight with a 67-year-old man named Malik Abdul-Rahman who is now at the Dallas County Jail on a murder charge.
Police have not said what led up to the fight.
This is an ongoing investigation.
