A St. Louis man was arrested earlier this week after he robbed a woman for $30 and then killed another woman in her basement.
Authorities say they responded to a robbery call near Union Blvd and Martin Luther King Drive Monday when a woman says she was robbed by a man driving a green colored mercury in an alley.
The woman says she was able to get away just to find the suspects car parked near her home.
The woman then says while contacting police she heard two gunshots.
Authorities arrived and saw a man running from the rear of a woman’s house.
After a small chase police were able to capture the suspect.
They found a .22 caliber semi automatic at the scene of the shooting along with a deceased woman with a bullet in the back of her head.
The woman that was robbed confirmed to police that Deionate Robertson, 23 was the person that robbed her.
He was arrested and charged with first degree murder, robbery and two counts of armed criminal attack.
