55-year-old ‘Squid Game,’ champion Mai Whelan is still waiting to receive her big prize after stating that she hasn’t been given a penny out of the money after filming ended 10 months ago.

Whelan, who escaped Vietnam when she was younger during the communist regime, stated, “I feel like Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire. Show me the money!” Whelan exclaimed.

Although it isn’t known why Whelan hasn’t been given the cash, Netflix will probably dish it out soon as the show’s finale was just broadcasted on Wednesday.

Additionally, many fans have been wondering if Mai will share her cash prize with other contestants like runner-up Phil Cain, 27, a scuba instructor. However, the contract that the players agree to bans them from sharing the prize money.

As for what she expects to do with the $4,560,000, Mai says that she will purchase a retirement residence and donate to charity.
