2.2kviews

Southwest Airlines is no longer accepting cash as a form of payment.
As of July 1 Southwest Airlines will not be accepting cash payments for tickets, upgrades or any of their other services.
The Dallas based company is trying to cut down on money handling during this COVID-19 pandemic and a spokesman for the company said “The change to cashless at the airport had been in the works for a while before COVID, and we stopped accepting cash onboard in 2008.”
Southwest says they are still accepting cash at their international airports.
