Southlake Girl Caught In Storm Grate That Was Blocked By Snakes At Drainage Pipe

3.2kviews

In Southlake, Texas, a 12-year-old girl went through a drainage pipe. It lead to her winding up in the storm grate. She then needed an emergency crew’s assistance to get out because her drainage pipe, which was far back, was blocked by snakes.

On Wednesday, two sisters, Tori and Carly, were outside having fun when Tori decided to go in the drainage pipe. She did so although she knew it was forbidden by her mother.

As she was exiting out, she saw a black snake, a rat snake, and searched for another exit.

She walked by another storm grate to go to another drainage pipe, but a rat snake was there, too.

Carly tried to assist her sister but saw the snake and left to alert her mother. When the mother couldn’t lift the storm grate, they contacted the Southlake DPS, who helped with rescuing Tori.

In addition to their heroic efforts, the department wants the public to know that no snakes were injured.
