Sony Will Continue To Make PS4 Consoles In 2022

1.5kviews

Because of the pandemic and a great demand for PS5’s, Sony has decided to continue producing the PS4 console in 2022.

Approximately one million PS4’s will be made, and that could change if the demand decreases. This shouldn’t be a problem because the company’s robots can put together a PS4 in 30 seconds.

Sony feels that by making more 4’s than 5’s, they will be able to help with the demand in the marketplace.  Additionally, the PS4 provides many different types of games, and the console is way cheaper that the PS5.

However, PS4’s were sold out when the holidays were approaching, making prices increase for both gaming systems.

Sony halted their production of the PS4 Pro, last year. As a result, the Jet Black PlatStation4 is the only console that will be sold by retailers.
