A single mother made a great decision and has gone viral.
Charlise Freeman posted a video to Instagram and TikTok, showing the instant she gifted her son three properties for his 16th birthday. She also gave him $10,000 in cash.
“He had no idea what was in store. I was about to give him the foundation to set him up for success!” Freeman exclaimed.
“I understand firsthand how hard it is for a single mother to be raising young black men in today’s world,” she added.
Freeman stated that she has regular talks with her son about caring for the family when she is long gone. Her son actually was the one who showed interest in real estate first.
After being denied acceptance into a business program, the mom took matters into her own hands.
“…it was to show him that no matter what doors don’t open for you, if you continue to push forward, the right one will open. I want him to be able to pass things down,” the mother added.
Several people praised Freeman for the incredible gift. One person wrote, “Breaking generational curses, and I’m here for it.”
