On Saturday, Singer Traci Braxton, who was shown on the reality show “Braxton Family Values” with her family, died at the age of 50.

Toni Braxton, her sister, and other members of her family expressed that Braxton passed away “this morning as the snow was falling.” Reports indicate that Traci Braxton had been battling esophageal cancer.

“Needless to say, she was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. She will be missed dearly,” the family stated.

“Braxton Family Values” was featured on WeTV for seven series. It revolved around situations with siblings Toni, Traci, Tamar, Trina, and Towanda, and other relatives.

Traci was known for her songs “Last Call” and “Broken Things,” and had albums released in 2014 and 2018. She was an actress, as well.

Her website notes that she enjoyed working with kids with special needs, too.

Traci Braxton was married to Kevin Surratt, with whom she was shown on the T.V. series, “Marriage Boot Camp.”

Her son, Kevin Jr., shared his feelings on Instagram. “I love my mother forever. This hurts so much, but I’m at peace knowing she’s not in pain anymore.”
