R & B singer and actor, Tyrese, has gifted his daughter with something special.
Shayla, 14, his daughter with his former wife, Norma Gibson, just graduated from ninth grade. However, her dad couldn’t attend the ceremony because he had taken a job in England. So, for a graduation gift, he bought her a Rolls-Royce.
“I feel horrible as a father that I missed this one-of-a-kind moment. But, it’s very clear that my daughter felt all that love that I arranged from London. Thank you Momma Norma for being there…Funny that you’re in my country, and I’m in yours. lol. Congratulations to our angel Shayla [Princess] Gibson. You did it, baby. You made Daddy so proud,” Tyrese posted to his Instagram page.
In a recording, a van arrives depicting pictures of Tyrese and his daughter on video screens as Adele’s song, “Hello,” plays in the background. Shayla then gets into the vehicle as she smiles from ear to ear. White balloons spelling out her name can also be seen on the white Rolls-Royce. “Congratulations Princess Shayla, Daddy Loves You,” was read across the screen.
Tyrese is in London, right now, working on a new movie in the “Fast & Furious” franchise, “FastX.”
