An investigation is ongoing following the discovery of a man who was shot outside a Dallas church on Sunday. On December 8, officers responded to a report of a shooting at New Generation Baptist Church, located in the 8800 block of South Lancaster Road, shortly before 8:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Currently, authorities have not identified any suspects, and no additional injuries have been reported.
