Shooting Near Arlington High School Left One Man Dead And Another Injured

A shooting in East Arlington left one person dead and another injured Saturday evening.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 2400 block of Summer Place Dr and when they arrived they found a male deceased in from of his home and the other was taken to Mansfield Methodist hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Authorities said the shooting happened around 6:45pm about half a mile from San Houston High School.
Officers are investigating the shooting and have not released the victims name.
