Shooting In Mesquite Leaves A Woman Dead

A woman was shot and killed in Mesquite early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Gillette Dr and Avis St and when they arrived they found Keniesha Coleman,29 suffering from a gunshot wound.
Coleman was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities believe the victim got into an altercation with a male and female that ended with shots being fired.
It is believed that the victim and suspects did not know one another.
