Shooting In Cedar Hill Leaves One Man Injured

An elderly man was injured Thursday afternoon in Cedar Hill and the suspect(s) have been detained.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 1100 block of Suburban Dr around 1:14pm.
Upon arrival officers learned two men got into a verbal disagreement in the front yard.
During that time the argument escalated and one of the men pulled out a handgun striking the other.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for non life threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
