Several reports have indicated that Sherri Shepherd will be the “permanent guest host” of The Wendy Williams Show, starting in September.
This comes after many other celebrities, including Bill Bellamy, Whitney Cummings, and Leah Remini, have taken turns hosting as Williams deals with her sicknesses.
The deal that is about to be signed will involve producers of the show checking to see how Wendy is doing between now and September. If she has improved, she may possibly come back to the show.
However, if she doesn’t return back, then the show may be renamed. That will be the 15th season of the talk show.
Wendy took a break from the show after experiencing problems related to Graves Disease. Her last time on the show was in July 2021.
