Select Walmart Stores Will Close Temporarily

1.3kviews

Various Walmart stores in Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, and other areas will shut down for a short period of time. This will be done in order to perform deep cleanings to assist in battling the Coronavirus.

In many instances, curbside services will still be an option through the pharmacy.

While schools have begun to open all across the nation, COVID-19 cases have risen. Over 62 million Americans have been fully vaccinated, and states are not open to mask mandates.

To add, people needing hospital beds or urgent medical attention are being placed on waiting lists.

Beginning on September 20, vaccinated people can start to receive a booster shot that has been encouraged by the CDC.

Walmart is doing their part by hiring a third-party cleaning service to sanitize and clean their locations effectively over a few days.
