Police are conducting an investigation following the discovery of a deceased baby by a sanitation worker in Red Oak on Thursday.
Reports indicate that authorities responded to a call about a deceased infant found in the 1300 block of Saint Andrews Drive at approximately 1:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, officials confirmed the report and pronounced the infant dead at the scene.
The identity of the infant has not yet been disclosed, and the Medical Examiner will determine both the identity and the cause of death.
