Russian Model Found Dead, Stuffed in a Suitcase after Calling Putin a “Psychopath” on Social Media

A Russian model who called Vladimir Putin a “psychopath” was found dead, stuffed inside a suitcase.

Gretta Vedler, 23, went on an anti-Putin social media rant right before she went missing over a year ago. The two incidents, however, turned out to be not related.

Dmitry Korovin, Vedler’s ex-boyfriend, has confessed to murdering her.

Korovin told authorities that he strangled his ex-girlfriend, then slept in a hotel room for three nights with her dead body stuffed in a suitcase.

Korovin then left the suitcase in the trunk of a car for a year. He told detectives he would also post to her social media pages to make it look like she was still alive.
