Rowlett Man Sentenced To 60 Years In Prison For Filming Himself Rape His Friend’s 7 Year Old Daughter
On Thursday U.S. District Judge Jane J. Boyle sentenced a Rowlett man to 60 years in federal prison for filming himself sexually assaulting a 7 year old girl.
According to reports, authorities were called to the victims residence in January of 2020 after her father found his friend, 35 year old Mark Alan Miller, sexually abusing his then 9 year old daughter.
Apparently, the two men had been friends for over a decade when he allowed his friend to spend the night at his home. The father heard a noise and when he checked his daughters room he found his friend sexually assaulting his daughter.
The father immediately contacted police and held Miller at gunpoint until authorities arrived.
In March 2022, Miller plead guilty to two counts of production of child pornography. He also admitted to raping the child for years, as well as recording at least five videos and taking over a hundred pornographic photos involving the victim.
It was said that in some of the videos and pictures the child was as young as 7 years old.
A Rockwall Police Department forensic analyst testified that Miller’s electronic devices had more than 8,000 images of child pornography.
