Rowlett High School Football Player Test Positive For COVID-19

A football player tests positive for COVID-19 at Rowlett High School causing the varsity football team to miss their first two games.
One player has tested positive and the teammates have been notified and will be quarantined as a precaution for the next 14 days.
Games were scheduled to begin this Friday against Plano Senior High School Wildcats.
GISD have postponed all games until October 9 and will reschedule their October 9 conference match up against Sachse High School.
GISD has notified all parents and staff that may have come in contact with the infected player.
