In the latest version of Batman, Urban Legends, Robin, also known as Tim Drake, has announced he is bisexual.
In the new part of the series, Drake agreed to go out with a boy. In a previous part of the series, Drake had a girlfriend, Stephanie Brown.
Meghan Fitzmartin, the writer, stated that she believed this character was missing something and wanted him to see his own sexuality.
Many people knew that this move would be coming soon. Fitzmartin said that the character will keep trying to find himself and aiming to cease crime through his caped missions.
She doesn’t believe Batman will have an issue with the character’s sexuality. Afterall, she says they are like dad and son.
“I believe Batman is incredibly open. He’s going to be very receptive of Robin,” she declared.
“Ultimately, there’s a lot of love that he has for Tim and that will shine through.”
