A man shot and killed a robbery suspect while at a cookout in West Dallas Friday night.
Officers responded to the 3400 block of Chicago St where witnesses say three male suspects approached them with handguns demanding money.
A witness at the cookout hand a gun on them and shot one of the male suspects while the other two fled the scene.
The suspect was transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
This investigation is ongoing.
