For those who live in the Rockwall County area be prepared for major delays next month as TxDot continues to work on the highway.
Beginning February 6 all lanes at Dalrock Rd exit will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. all the way through February 8. TxDot will be working on the bridge beam installation which is part of a new construction project.
Although the eastbound I-30 exit ramp will be closed those driving westbound will be able to exit Dalrock Rd.
Drivers will be redirected to the frontage roads and are urged to leave early or take alternate routes.
The new $142 million dollar I-30 expansion project will be constructed across Lake Ray Hubbard from Bass Pro Drive to Dalrock Rd. Additionally, the Dalrock Rd. interchange will be rebuilt. Future projects will widen I-30 and add continuous frontage roads throughout Rockwall County.
