Early Saturday morning, former Seahawks cornerback and current sports analyst Richard Sherman was taken into custody for DUI.
King County, Washington, jail records show that Sherman was booked for the offense at 4:51 a.m.
As of Saturday afternoon, the county prosecutor’s office hadn’t received charges for Sherman, they said.
The exact location of where the apprehension was made isn’t known, but it was somewhere along I-90 and I-405. At some point, Sherman’s charges will be given to the district court unit.
An investigation is on-going, and no other details have been released.
Prior to this incident, Sherman had pled guilty to first-degree negligent driving and second-degree criminal trespass, in addition to, speeding in a construction zone in March 2022.
