Ramona Cooper, a 60 year-old ex-staff sergeant in the Air Force, was killed on Saturday. David L.Green, a 58 year-old retired Massachusetts state trooper, was also killed. The victims were both black. Furthermore, this appears to be a hate crime that occurred in a suburb of Boston, authorities say.

Law enforcement officials state that Nathan Allen, 28, stole a big truck and ran into an automobile and a building. Then, he shot Green and Cooper. Police shot Allen, and he was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

Allen was in possession of two weapons at the time. He passed by several people who were not black and did not shoot them.

Investigators say that his writings relate to anti-Semitic and racist language towards the black community.

Allen was married, employed, and held a PH.D. An investigation is on-going.
