Actor Julian Sands was well-known for roles on the 80s and 90s movies, “Warlock: The Armageddon,” and “Arachnophobia.”
On Tuesday, officials confirmed that human remains found where Sands last went hiking belong to him.
“The identification process for the body located on Mt. Baldy on June 24, 2023, has been completed and was positively identified as 65-year-old Julian Sands of North Hollywood.” This was released through the San Bernadino County, California, sheriff’s office.
Early reports indicate that on Saturday, hikers found the remains in the location. Sands had gone missing five months earlier.
No cause of death has been determined at this time, but it is believed that harsh weather conditions surrounded the area when Sands was hiking.
For the last few months, rescuers had continued to look for him.
