The human head and hands found in a freezer at a Colorado home in January have been confirmed to belong to Amanda Overstreet, a 16-year-old girl who had been missing for nearly 20 years.

As reported by the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, DNA testing was used to identify the victim.

The remains were located in the freezer of a recently sold residence in Grand Junction, Colorado, on January 12, after someone arrived to collect the appliance that was being offered for free.

At the time of her disappearance, Overstreet was believed to be 16 years old and had not been “seen or heard from since April 2005.” She was the daughter of the previous homeowner.

There is currently no indication that Overstreet was ever officially reported missing, and the “circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still under investigation.”

No cause of death has been released.

  1. Testosterone Replacement Therapy: Myths And Facts

    # Testosterone Replacement Therapy: Myths and Facts

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a treatment used to address low testosterone levels in men. While
it can offer various benefits, there are also
myths and risks associated with it. Here’s a breakdown of
    key facts and considerations.

    ## Can testosterone replacement therapy make me feel more energetic?

Yes, TRT can enhance energy levels. Low testosterone often contributes to
fatigue, so restoring balance may improve stamina and overall vitality.

However, this effect varies among individuals and shouldn’t replace a healthy
lifestyle or sleep routine. Additionally, TRT might lead to side
effects like increased aggression or mood swings, so it’s important to
    monitor these reactions.

    ## Are there risks to testosterone replacement therapy?

Absolutely, TRT carries risks such as cardiovascular issues, blood clots, and sleep disorders.
It can also increase the risk of certain cancers.
These risks are more pronounced in men with pre-existing conditions like
heart disease or cancer. Always consult a healthcare provider before starting TRT.

    ## Should I avoid testosterone replacement therapy if I have certain conditions?

Yes, individuals with active cancer, heart conditions, or blood disorders should avoid TRT.
It’s crucial to inform your doctor of any medical history before considering this treatment.
TRT isn’t a substitute for a healthy lifestyle and shouldn’t be taken without professional guidance.

    ## Can testosterone replacement therapy treat ED?

TRT can help improve erectile function in some men with low testosterone.
However, it’s not always the most effective solution, and other
treatments like PDE5 inhibitors might offer better
results. Always consult a healthcare provider to explore all options.

    ## How do I take testosterone replacement therapy?

TRT is typically administered through patches, injections, or gels.
The method depends on your doctor’s recommendation and the treatment plan. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid incorrect use, which
    can lead to adverse effects.

    ## How will I be monitored while on testosterone replacement therapy?

Regular monitoring is essential. Your doctor will likely conduct blood tests to track hormone levels and monitor for side
effects. This ensures your health remains a priority during TRT.

    ## How long do I have to take testosterone replacement therapy?

TRT duration varies based on the individual’s needs and testosterone levels.

Some use it short-term, while others may need long-term supervision. Regular check-ups are necessary to assess continued necessity.
