Pregnant Woman Punched In Face After Refusing To Move Out Of Seat On Bus

Close to 2 a.m., on Sunday, a pregnant woman was punched in the face. This occurred in Philadelphia as the woman would not give up her seat on a bus, police say.

The woman, who is two months pregnant, was allegedly confronted by the 6’2” attacker who told her to get up. When she refused, authorities say that the man punched and shoved her into a metal pole. He also warned that he would follow behind her, to her home, and beat her up.

The suspect ran off the bus after the occurrence, and the woman was transported to a medical facility for minor wounds.

On Monday morning, the suspect, a homeless man, was apprehended subsequent to being identified through camera footage from the bus.
