Police Shoot Woman With A Weapon In Front Of Golden Chicken

A woman was shot outside of Golden Chicken this morning after calling police and reporting she had broken into the restaurant.
Dallas police officers were called out to the Golden Chicken on Northwest highway and Webb Chapel Rd and when they arrived they saw a woman armed with a knife.
According to Deputy Chief Thomas Castro they ordered the woman to drop her weapon and when she did not they used the stun gun to try and subdue her but that was ineffective because she then rose her knife and proceeded to approach the officers, and that’s when one of the officers shot her.
The woman who is still unidentified was taken to a local hospital and no officers were injured.
