Police Search For Woman Who Fled With $10Million From Loomis

3.9kviews

A woman employed with Loomis armored car company is on the run after fleeing with nearly $10 million in cash.

Yasemin Gundogan, of Germany, worked as a currency-packaging assistant. She fled in late May, police say, with piles of money she took from the business.

After not being able to find the woman for many weeks, police issued an arrest warrant this month.

She is suspected of putting the stolen money in locked security bags as normal, but snuck them out of the building by placing them in a wheeled bin, covered up with trash, according to the police report. She rolled it outside and unloaded the full bags into a black Mercedes-Benz minivan with stolen license plates.

Gundogan got in the vehicle and fled without a trace. Other Loomis employees didn’t notice the cash was missing for four days. Surveillance cameras at the Loomis office were not on that day.
