Dallas police are searching for a vehicle involved in an attempted kidnapping Monday afternoon.
Officers say they responded to an attempted kidnapping call, around 2:40 p.m., on the 16900 block of Old Pond Drive. Upon arriving they learned that a group of children were outside playing when they were approached by a Hispanic male.
The children said the man was driving a white SUV and asked one of the children to come look at something in the back of his vehicle.
The child ran away and witnesses reported that they saw the suspect chase after the child for a short period of time before getting back in his vehicle and fleeing the scene.
Dallas Police are looking for a white SUV, Toyota Four-Runner, with the Texas license plate number THS9209. They also believe a second vehicle, a dark-colored Chevy pick-up truck, may be involved.
