OnlyFans announced on Twitter, they wont be banning sexual content.
The decision comes after the company faced a huge backlash about banning sexual content starting Oct 1st.
Tim Stokely, the founder of OnlyFans, said “the reason for the ban was something dealing with its banking partners.”
Some banking partners were concerned with publicizing the large amounts of money flowing through the site.
The site has payouts as large as $300 million per month.
Based on the initial news, some frustrated creators have already began deleting their accounts, even switching to new platforms.
OnlyFans was founded in 2016.
The site claims they have over 130 million registered users, as well as 2 million creators.
The company says even with a porn-friendly policy, they are looking to gain wider audiences.
