One Suspect Injured Another Taken Into Custody After Trying To Rob A Business In Deep Ellum

A suspect was injured early Monday morning while trying to break into a business in Deep Ellum.

The incident happened around 3am near canton street and Malcolm X Boulevard when two people tried to kick in the front door to a business.

The owner was there at the property and shot one of the suspects critically injuring them and the other was arrested at the scene.

No charges have been filed at this time and the owner of the store is cooperating.
