One Man Killed Outside Fort Worth Bar

An investigation is underway after a man was killed outside a popular Fort Worth bar early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 1 a.m at the intersection of Currie Rd and Bledsoe Street near the El Chingon bar.

Upon arrival officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. He was transported to Harris hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities believe a fight started inside a club and escalated outside. The victim was shot and the suspect fled the scene on foot before officers could arrive.

At this time no suspect(s) have been arrested.
