Dallas police are looking for suspects that robbed and beat some men performing valet trash service in an apartment complex.
Officers responded to a robbery/ shooting call around 10:48am in the Grand Estates at Kessler Park located on the 1500 block of N. Beckley Ave.
Upon arrival they found two men suffering in the parking lot.
Both men were transported to an area hospital where one died from his injuries and the other suffered a head injury but is expected to survive.
There was also a third suspect that managed to escape.
Apparently, while the men were gathering trash in the apartment complex a group of men approached them with a handgun.
They shot one of the men and pistol whipped the other.
They then stole the victims black Chevy pickup with trash still in it.
Authorities found the truck abandoned in an apartment complex parking lot.
When officers arrived the suspects had already fled the scene and still remain at large.
