One Man Dead After Losing Control Of Vehicle And Car Catches Fire

An early morning fiery crash leaves one man dead.
Dallas firefighters responded to a fire on the 9500 block of Midway Rd around 3:18am.
Upon arrival they noticed a crashed Ford Mustang on fire.
When firefighters put the fire out they discovered a deceased body inside.
Officers believe that the Ford Mustang was traveling at high speeds when the driver lost control and struck a utility pole.
Witnesses at the scene told officers that a male passenger got out of the car and called the drivers name before fleeing the scene on foot.
The drivers name has not been released at this time and the passenger remains at large.
