An investigation is underway after two people were shot at an illegal gambling building.
On July 24, around 8:45 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call on the 300 block of E. Ledbetter Drive. Officers located two men inside the building with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims, 40 year old Estevan Narvaez Jr, died at the scene and the other man was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
Officers believe two unknown suspects walked into the building and demanded property before opening fire and striking Narvaez Jr.
The suspects then fled the scene before officers could arrive.
This is an ongoing investigation.
